A tradition that
keeps moving.
We continue a significant tradition dating back to 1950, when mortise lock production began in Horní Benešov. Our modern history starts with privatisation of the state enterprise in 1992 and the establishment of privately owned HOBES, spol. s r.o.
We built on the traditional development and production of mortise locks by supplying parts to the automotive industry. We also introduced engineering production and steel door frame manufacturing.
A satisfied customer is the company's strategic focus. The high quality of our products is demonstrated by certified management systems to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ČSN EN ISO 3834-2 and ČSN EN ISO 45001.
Because we operate in the automotive industry, we also emphasise information and cybersecurity, confirmed by our TISAX assessment.

We continually seek to take every opportunity to move our company forward, investing both our own resources and funding from grant programmes.
Through in-house development – from idea to product – design of our own products, design and manufacture of tools and fixtures, an integrated production cycle, transport and, not least, an active team working in a family atmosphere, we will continue to listen to the needs of our existing and new business partners.
