Our company follows an important tradition that dates back to 1950, when the production of mortise locks was started in Horní Benešov under the name Brano. The modern history of the company begins with the privatization of the state-owned company in 1992 and the founding of the company HOBES, spol. with 100% private ownership. The following period is characterized by extensive investments in technological equipment, IT and expansion into foreign markets.
